Coach Mike McArthur (Coach Mac) I've had the pleasure of coaching many outstanding athletes throughout my career. Numerous NCAA Champions along with World and Olympic Champions. My personal style of teaching not only involves showing technique and how it works but also explaining why it works based on body awareness, balance, center of gravity, leverage, momentum and many other physical and mental aspects that help an athlete to use these techniques more effectively. I have used my style of coaching in working with all time great wrestlers like John Smith, Dave Schultz, Kurt Angle, Kenny Monday, Kendall Cross, Bruce Baumgartner, Tom Brands, Terry Brands, Mike Sheets, and Clar Anderson. My expectations of the athletes I coach are to incorporate the information, technique and experiences they're receiving and transfer that into efficient, enjoyable and successful application in everyday life, whether on the wrestling mats or their interaction in their business and/or social worlds. I feel like this is an area that God has gifted me. The teaching and explanation of wrestling technique combined with Biblical principles to develope the total person! This is part of my ministry! I'll be providing an ongoing newsletter through this websight with special sections for people to ask individual questions on techniques and strategies. I'll cover the regularly asked questions and give my evaluation on how to have the greatest possible success in this highly competitive sport! Whether you're attending my camps or watching my Technique Videos, you won't be sorry you took the extra time to become all that you can! I'm glad to be a help to anyone desiring to become the best!
